Changing to use the symbols from analogLib won't make any difference - if you're still using the same models. I'm not sure what you mean by "predictive models". As I said, I checked using simplified models and didn't have any convergence issue (although Marc's point about there being no pulse source suggests that something isn't quite right, but it shouldn't cause a convergence issue). I'd start by trying a newer spectre, as I suggested. If after getting the latest spectre and maybe updated models from the foundry you still have issues, please contact customer support so that we can look into it. Convergence issues are relatively rare with spectre, especially with reasonable models and a correctly connected circuit. Regards, Andrew.
