Forum Post: changing decending order in cadence schematic

Hi, I want change the order on hierarchy descend. By default , it is schematic,symbol. I want to change it to schematic,extract,symbol. I tried changing the viewNameLists using this cmd: envSetVal("constraint" "viewNameList" 'string "schematic extracted_lvs symbol") But it did not help. If I edit the Options->Editor ->ViewNameList, it works but only for the current schematic that's open. I want this for all. Satendra
