Okay, just so I understand, I am going to summarize. Allegro refers to a more feature rich version of the PCB Editor. The one with less features is called OrCad PCB Editior. OrCAD Capture and Capture CIS remain the same however no matter the PCB Editior. Your licensing options pay for the feature rich mix you want - ie. Allegro PCB Editor vs. OrCAD PCB Editor. Allegro, from I understand, has more RF and High Speed features than the regular OrCAD PCB Editor. Also more advanced autorouting amongst other features. In order to get these licensing features worked out I have to go through a reseller like EMA-EDA for US based customers. Like I said, I am new to this PCB world.
