Lennie, on those multi section symbols I think it is far easier to just open the symbol in the editor and remove the extra ground and power pins on the sections that don't need them, clean up the graphics and then just save the symbol. Doing this will mean your symbol is right out of the gate so to speak and the sections A,B,C,D etc will look good on the page. It seems like having to manipulate the pin sections is just an extra step that's not needed ?. Here is a two section symbol on the schematic page. Section B used to look like Section A. I removed the extra power pins and cleaned up the graphic stub for those pins. Works good and can be done in a few seconds. If I need to use that symbol on another project then it is ready to go straight from the library. Only proviso is to remember to name each section value the same otherwise you will run into netlisting issues. For example if the value of section a is NE5532 then section B should be the same.
