Add > Rectangle/Frectangle objects are generated/stored with a Height and Width dimension - where as - Shape > Rectangular objects are generated/stored with 4 shape segments. The subclass they are drawn on drive whether these objects are filled or hollow, here is some more details: Add > Rectangle = Adds an unfilled rectangle on a particular subclass. If unfilled shapes are not permitted on the subclass it will automatically change to a filled rectangle. (i.e. Etch subclasses) Add > Frectangle = Adds a filled rectangle on a particular subclass. If filled shapes are not permitted on the subclass it will automatically change to a unfilled rectangle. (i.e. Route Keepin All subclasss) Shape > Rectangular = Similar to adding a filled rectangle on a particular subclass. If filled shapes are not permitted on the subclass it will automatically change to a unfilled rectangle. Selecting a Rectangle/Frectangle object using any Shape commands will automatically convert it to a Shape based object with multiple segments. Hope this helps, Mike Catrambone
