Hi, I discovered that the DRA, PSM and PAD files should probably be in the same directory. This directory could be something completely different from what Cadence defaults too, but I did get it to work just fine by using the old "standard" DRA, PSM and PAD files that came with my installation to do my little "4 component circuit" to prove my point. So yes, I have it working, but as a very long term user of OrCAD Layout Plus, boy, Allegro is much more involved to the simplest things. This is one of the reasons I am staying at 16.2 for now until I understand Allegro much better and not feel so intimidated by it. One more question, as you can have several entries or paths for your libraries in the Preferences, does it matter that the one you want is the first entry or does that even matter provided it can find the DRA, PSM and PADS files?
