It's not clear what you are asking for here. Are you wanting to implement something yourself which prompts the user to get a reference point and so on? If so, that's what enterPoints() does. Or enterPoint(). You might need to then use dbGetTrueOverlaps or dbShapeQuery to find objects under those points and get the layer name. Or maybe you're asking something else. Andrew
