You have the change the part in library and then update it in the design cache. Open the part in the library then Options> Part Properties... Change Pin Viability to false. Save the part. Go to the design cache and right click the part and 'update cache'. All instances of that part will be updated in that schematic. Hiding the power pin should work the same way.... It is best to never update the property of a part in the schematic. You have to go back to the library to make the change. This is especially true with large designs.
