Forum Post: RE: update layout creates a Rectangle "Board Geometry/Top_Room" that cannot be removed

Hi John, thanks for the reply. I did try this approach but the software doesn't seem to recognize it as a room. I saw the rectangle was assigned a "FIXED" property automatically which I cannot figure out how to edit. Upon syncing with the schematic, the rectangle is added together with the parts as a group called "1_QP" but disbanding the group won't remove the rectangle.
