The latest HotFix for 17.20 (013) lists some enhancements: 1687819 ALLEGRO_EDITOR UI_GENERAL Change in Region and Language settings of Windows impacts decimal character in Padstack Editor 1696637 ALLEGRO_EDITOR UI_GENERAL Padstack Editor uses Region and Language settings for the decimal symbol 1699326 ALLEGRO_EDITOR UI_GENERAL Padstack Editor follows the geographical area rules set in the Control Panel while PCB Editor does not I have seen the problem too and changed my regional settings to a . for a decimal point instead of a , which is normally used in Sweden. As of this mornig, I applied the HF but I have not verified if it fixes the issue.

You probably have un-modelled pins, pins on the part have no equivalent connection to pins on the model, or possibly an empty model.

You are missing a "0" symbol. All circuit nodes in a PSpice (SPICE) circuit must have a DC path to "0". There is a DRC for this in later versions that gets flagged when the netlist gets created. Since you have a GND net, I suspect that you placed a generic GND symbol and not a PSpice specific "0" symbol.

Hi, I am a beginner in ocean. The question is that which command can print all DC values into the file (instead of calling function "fprintf" for each one by one like above)? No matter what diode-model I'm taking or in whatever way I'm measuring, the junction-voltage of the diode always is inverted, meaning that negative voltages are passed through and positive ones are blocked. What could the reason be?

Potentially you could use the report() function with the dcOpInfo results to do something similar to what you want. Otherwise I think you'd need to use a foreach() loop on the result of outputs() and do the fprintf within that loop.

Not enough information to know what tool or version you're using, or what exactly you've tried and what doesn't work... Please provide enough information to explain the problem - clearly if diodes didn't generally act as diodes, there would be a big problem with all customers, so that can't be the case - it must be a more specific problem than that! Hi Andrew, Imagine that I have a file with generic functions (for eg, read from files, write to files, etc) and I would like to not have them in my main code, but being able to call them whenever I need them. Is that possible ? Or, as you are suggesting, that is only a matter of using a load() command in my main code ? Best regards, Jose

Hi Jose, Yes, you only need to load the functions one time and it shouldn't matter where from. You can set up functions to be autoloaded so that the file(s) that contain the function is loaded automatically when the function is called. You could also gather the core functions into a single context file (which could also be autoloaded, if you like) - loading the context file could be more efficient than loading one or more textual SKILL files. I have a design with one buried via L2-L11 and two micro vias (L1-L2 and L11-L12). I do not want my microvias overlapping the buried via, but I don't care if the top and bottom micro-vias overlap for obvious reasons. Is there any way to relay this information to Allegro so I can get rid of the 500 DRCs? Or am I just stuck with waiving them manually? Thanks
